Victoria Blatterman represents motorists and passengers who suffered catastrophic injuries or economic loss due to vehicle defects and malfunctions.

Victoria’s casework includes representing consumers in a class action for owners of Audi vehicles with engine damage allegedly caused by timing chain tensioner defects. She also litigates for clients asserting defective airbags made by Takata or another manufacturers injured them because the airbags exploded and sprayed shrapnel or they failed to deploy. Victoria previously represented Volkswagen and Audi vehicle owners in a class action over odometer fraud and the sale of pre-production vehicles as certified pre-owned.

Prior to litigating vehicle defects, Victoria represented county and municipal governments in lawsuits against opioid manufacturers and distributors alleging deceptive marketing and fraudulent distribution of highly addictive opioids.

While in law school, Victoria completed multiple legal clerkships at plaintiffs’ firms in South Carolina where she worked on personal injury cases, workers’ compensation, veterans’ disability claims, wrongful death claims and other matters. She also participated in Charleston School of Law’s Presidential Honors Program, served as Vice President of the Maritime Law Society, was a member of the editorial board for the Maritime Law Bulletin and volunteered pro bono with Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities, Inc.. Victoria is a CALI Awards recipient in Torts II, Insurance Law, and Admiralty Law.
